HVA HISTORY

The Hawaii Volleyball Association was formed in 2004 under Wahine Hawaii Volleyball Association after Professional Volleyball Player, Susie Turner, realized the unique potential in the Hawaii market.  Existing organized volleyball was all but non-existent, and the few events that were held were not organized.  She began the organization and took on the challenge of organizing events by finding sponsors, charities, finding the players and promoting the sport.  Since then, the sport has taken hold in the Hawaii market like never before.
